IBS 2020 | Las Vegas, Nevada
Boral Roofing has been hard at work over the past few weeks with our attendance and exhibition of two trade shows!
At the end of January we attended the International Builder’s Show, NAHB IBS 2020 in Las Vegas, Nevada where we were able to display all of our newest innovations including our newest CEU course that puts a strong focus on color design trends in the industry and where it is headed in the future! Additionally, our Environmental Innovations wall made its debut at the show that showcased our newly launched Vista Collection, a concrete tile roof line offered within the state of Texas.
An all-new tile design for our concrete Saxony Slate in Florida applied with Foam also made its debut. The solution is notable for providing extra adherence of the tile to the roof, providing a stronger hold and helping to prevent damage during severe wind conditions. We also showcased the Class A fire rating of our popular concrete, clay and stone-coated steel roofing products.
Also included in the Environmental Innovations display was our Hail testing video which compared our Boral Stone-Coated Steel and the leading asphalt shingle product in a hail testing showdown that took place in the National Lab, located at our plant in Rialto, California.
During our time in Las Vegas, we were also able to visit the 2020 BUILDER Chowa Concept Home, which featured our Saxony Slate in a Charcoal finish!
The work of an international design, development, and construction team from Japan-based Sekisui House and its wholly-owned home building company Woodside Homes features innovative technologies, best practices and a new approach to housing in North America. The name Chowa is an ancient Japanese term representing the spirit of partnership and reflects life-balance, well-being, sustainable value, and connectedness to nature. Boral Roofing’s Concrete Cool Roof System is featured on the stunning home and features Saxony Slate tile in Charcoal Blend.
If you weren’t able to attend the show, we created a recap video that will allow you to view all the aforementioned innovations and products!
IRE 2020 | Dallas, Texas
In early February, we packed our bags and ten gallon hats and headed to Dallas, Texas for the International Roofing Expo, IRE, 2020. The IRE show this year hosted roughly 14,000 roofing professionals at the Kay Bailey Convention Center in downtown Dallas, Texas. Our 50’x50’ booth showcased our entire product portfolio with Clay, Concrete, Composite, and Steel as well as our newest innovations in color design trends.
Additionally, our Environmental Innovations wall displayed our Saxony 900 Slate paired with ICP adhesive, Boral Steel vs. Asphalt shingle hail testing, and concrete fire testing. We had another successful show and are looking forward to next year in Las Vegas, NV for IRE 2021.
If you weren’t able to attend the show, we created a recap video for this show as well that will allow you to view all the newest innovations and products!
Over the past month Boral Roofing has been featured in the news in a very exciting way! Boral Roofing has been featured on the cover of Roofing Magazine January/February 2020 Issue!
